TipHero was built to help bands and entertainment groups collect tips effortlessly in live settings. Using Tap to Pay on iPhone, we transformed a standard device into a fully functional payment terminal with no extra hardware required. Performers can now accept contactless payments directly on their phone, making it simple for audiences to show appreciation in the moment.
Behind the scenes, every transaction is securely processed through Stripe, ensuring fast, reliable, and trusted payment handling. The app is designed for ease of use during performances, allowing users to quickly complete transactions with minimal friction. This creates a smooth experience for both performers and their audiences, even in busy venue environments.
To complement the mobile experience, TipHero includes a physical stand that allows performers to present tipping options clearly at venues. This setup helps capture attention and encourages engagement, turning passive appreciation into real support. Together, the app and stand create a complete, practical solution with minimal setup.
